At JBabb Law, we are committed to defending people when they are charged with a crime simply for enjoying a private action. We live in a country that is seeing vast reform of the failed war on drugs. While it seems several states are realizing that criminalizing behavior that causes no harm to others is a ridiculous endeavor, Texas has seen none of these reforms yet. That does not mean that the citizens of Texas agree. Known for being a conservative state, our experience has shown that the people of Texas are also conservative when it comes to the government impeding on private conduct which causes no harm to others, as well as fiscally conservative when considering the vast amounts of money wasted on drug prosecution.
